77% of American workers say they have experienced burnout at their current job and 70% feel that their employers are not doing enough to prevent or alleviate burnout within their organization. It's time for a shift in the way we talk about and respond to burnout in our workplaces.

Join us on May 6 to begin your journey of building a more burnout resistant workplace.

The predominant narrative around burnout is about what individuals can do to avoid burnout, or how to get help when they’ve already reached their tipping point. Yet, research tells us that the root causes of burnout mostly have to do with workplace factors rather than individual practices. Employees are urged to prioritize rest and bubble baths, find ways to take control of their workdays, and somehow magically make their workloads more manageable. In framing the problem (and solutions) in this individual-oriented way, we engage in a type of victim blaming and put the onus of healing from burnout onto our employees while ignoring how the needs of these human beings are not being met by organizational policies, practices, and systems.

In this workshop, we will:
* dig into how institutions and leaders cause and exacerbate burnout for workers
* demonstrate the impacts of burnout on workplaces and workers, especially across generations
* outline highly effective strategies and practices for building workplaces that are resistant to burnout
* build a 'Burnout Safety Plan' to begin addressing root causes of burnout in YOUR workplace or team

We hope that you will join us!!

This is a hands-on, highly-interactive workshop facilitated on Zoom to a live audience and NOT a workshop that can be consumed passively while doing a million other things! If you sign up, please be prepared to commit to the community of learning and minimize distractions as much as possible. It is helpful for videos to be on and for participants to actively engage in discussions and activities. We learn best by doing and talking through content with others. If this sounds like fun, we hope you'll join us!!
