This NAP & PLAY CIRCLE series is about bringing napping and playing back into the Adult World as the "new norm".....We are creating a new relationship with rest & play- one that is necessary, positive, fun, and empowering.

Amongst businesses, kids, families, work, relationships, and obligations - life can at times feel tiring, exhausting, overwhelming, and repetitive.

This date falls on the week of FULL Moon energy..... a great opportunity to let go of anything no longer serving you!

The NAP & PLAY circle will consist of a 40 min playful yoga flow by Dr. Shivani and 30 min yoga nidra meditation by Dr. Diana .... where we get to connect with our play, our breath, our pause, and meet other like hearted and minded healthcare humans.

Be like children again.... because at heart, this is who are truly are :)

What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is an ancient sleep based meditation (2000 years old) that takes advantage of the body's natural way to quiet our thoughts and relax our body - Sleep. This simple style of meditation takes the mind body towards sleep, where the mind quiets, the thoughts drop, and the body enters into deep relaxation. This is the opportunity for the body to recharge, heal, regenerate, and transform. Studies have shown that yoga nidra helps to reduce stress, anxiety, insomnia, and trauma, as well as helps us remember who are at our core.

What is Daring to Rest Yoga Nidra?
Daring to Rest was founded by Karen Brody. A central question we explore at Daring to Rest is: how can I feel free in the midst of stress? There is no quick fix or miracle pill for ending suffering, but when we can slow down, quiet the mental noise, and go within, there is a place of freedom where our challenges, fears about the future, and spiraling thoughts recede into the background. This is the place of deep rest. In Daring to Rest, we explore rest in three phases: rest, release, and rise. The intention is for every person who experiences Daring to Rest to learn how to rest deeply, meet themselves with unconditional love, and rise grounded and whole - so that challenges can be managed with more ease.
